Description
The Director of Strategy for Global Operations & Logistics (GOaL) is a strategic leadership role. You will be a member of the GOaL Strategy team that works with the Operations and Logistics Leadership to develop, implement and implement Nike, Inc.'s end to end strategy, and guide its global and geographic portfolio. You and your team will capture and leverage external trends and benchmarks to inform the short and long term strategy. You will connect the dots, elevate insights & trends, and generate ideas. In this role you will lead and create content for key strategic business planning processes, and help monitor performance to strengthen the business. You will harness these strategy processes to strengthen new ideas for growth and generate stakeholder alignment and commitment. This role reports to the Senior Director of Global Operations and Logistics, is a member of the Global Operations and Technology Strategy Team, and partners with the executive leader VP, Global Operations and Logistics. The person will have 1-3 direct reports.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 8 years' relevant experience (3 years' experience post MBA preferred). In lieu of a Bachelor's degree an additional two years of experience is acceptable.
  • MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred
  • Experience in corporate development, business development, strategic planning, investment banking, management consulting, finance or related field
  • Operations and technology experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and provide project management support
  • Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial models
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and/or analyze research related to consumers, industries and competitors
  • Problem structuring and strategic problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
