Job Description

  • Manage the proper movement of inbound materials and outbound products.
  • Strategically source outsourced freight providers, negotiate agreements and manage vendor relationship.
  • Sourcing packaging and shipping materials vendors and negotiate agreements.
  • Develop and implement KPI and tracking techniques; implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve company performance and processes.
  • Oversite of transportation routes for all modes of transportation

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Experience managing logistics, warehouse and materials/finished product movement in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to develop and implement best practices to meet industry standards
  • Experience sourcing freight suppliers and negotiating contracts with suppliers
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
