Job Description

Assists with the Configuration and deployment of WMS product management applications in-line with industry methodologies and standards.
Develop/improve BI/ operational reports to assist operations and customers
Support the IT Program Leads in delivering quality product for use in the operational business.
Contribution to improving the country business unit P&L through effective usage of IT services and solutions.
Responsible for contributing to the delivery of IT projects from definition phases through to successful delivery.
Communicate with the project manager to ensure the maintenance of the project plan and time scales to ensure delivery.
Escalation of any project or implementation related issues.
Support product management activity for new business initiatives.
Establish productive business relationships with all customers and suppliers as appropriate.
Implementation of SDN's and configuration changes in line with agreed processes and standards

Support the cooperative functioning of the product management team.
Management and development of developments and workload - ensuring the requirements of the deliverables are met and understood.
Communication - contribute to the effective communication structure in place i.e. weekly / monthly team meetings.
Coach / Mentor fellow team members within the IT team.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years' Logistics and supply chain experience, maintaining master data, rooting and scheduling of data.
  • Strong analytical background
  • Consulting experience (considered)
  • Industrial Engineering qualification and background (Desired)
  • Technical support experience: Application System support (Web based applications)
  • Knowledge of testing, patch deployment and quality assurance protocols
  • Knowledge of Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems
  • Advanced skills in Power BI / BI reporting suite (Essential)
  • Advanced use of SQL, Oracle DB
  • Process analysis and Design (mapping)
  • Implementing and supporting applications
  • Experience in Stakeholder Management
  • Self-starter able to work independently and probe independently
  • Flexible and resilient mindset that is open to working on multiple projects and stakeholders across different regions, cultures and personalities.
